So basically, this is what they did: Jyh sent me a text at 11.50+pm on the 9th asking me about Torts. We exchanged texts til about 12.40ish. And then she went like "Are you going to sleep soon?" And I was like "Maybe.. Unless you want to come over and steal my dog. You'll never find her. Never!" I know I sound crazy, but that's the Panadol talking; I'm not kidding hahahahahaha!
Anyway, continuing. She went "Noo! Wait!" And then she started stalling and distracting me by asking so many other questions. Then she called "Er, Mel? I left something at your doorstep a few days ago. I'm not sure if it's still there. Can you go check now?" It may seem obvious, but it didn't occur to me what they were doing. So I went out to check. And as I was peeping through the gate, I saw this light, like fire. And I looked over in all my pajamas glory and in my 'whatever' and tadaa! Jyh, Gab and Qi were standing there with Miko and Ocha. And a cake with a lit candle in Jyh's hands and a bag on Qi's shoulder.
Cue "Jesus Christ; OMG; oh jeez!; etc." I was so touched by their deed that I almost cried. Almost.. ohmygosh, the sweetest bunch of friends on the planet. I love you guys; you're awesome! =D =D They made my day even before it started.
I got to play with the 2 doggies and got a handmade card and 2 statement tees from them. Thank you so much, you guys. Am loving the tees. Wore one today for dinner to celebrate my birthday and my uncle's. Taken pics with it. Will post them up here soon. And the "grandfather-grandmother story" conflict was really amusing. That got me laughing at 2am. Hehehe!
And then there were wishes on FB. All 58 of them. Wow. I feel so loved. Thank you so much! =)
And today is Sept the 11th. A very happy birthday to Uncle Kuna, Jie Florence (hehehe) and AJ. Have a great one. =)
